The purpose of daily meditation practice is to achieve peace of mind.Then you are ready to live your daily life effectively.In every movement, through every observation, you open up to the cosmic-revealing wonders that have always existed around you.The difference is that your eyes can now see and your mind can now understand because it has been properly prepared and accepted.
Light your candles and incense, then sit comfortably in an armchair with your spine perpendicular to the floor.Your thighs should be parallel to the floor with your feet flat.Hold on to any crossed or awkward tension.
Close your eyes and imagine a cozy little room in your own mind.Think of your consciousness as a tiny version of your most amazing self, sitting in the comfort of your chair.Your eye is now a window in the far wall of that room.
Look around the room.See if this is the perfect room for you and decorate it the way you like it.You are surrounded by comfort.(Pause) You sit in a comfortable meditation chair, away from that window.Away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world.
It is quiet and still in your inner sanctuary.Any distracting noises or distractions are just birds flying through that distant window… let them go without hesitation.
Start with three deep, exaggerated breaths.Let you let out a sigh as you let go of any pent-up tension.(Pause) Now, inhale slowly and deeply through your nose, exhale through your mouth….
Feel the energy of your surroundings.A colorful white light shines through the skylight, gently hugging you in its beam.Light flows into your breath, through your nose, through your body, until you glow.
Let the energy flow where it is needed.Just observe, while you are sitting comfortably, take a deep breath.
With each exhale, gently release everything that is not in your best interest.Blow it away in one go.(pause)
Inhale the light that flows into your spiritual body and your mind will open.Exhale fantasies that keep your eyes from seeing the truth.Blow away fantasy like smoke.
Inhale the light that flows into your emotional body and calm your mind.Exhale sadness and heartbreak.Blow that pain away like smoke.
Breathe in the light that enters the body of your will, and your flame will be kindled.Exhale the guilt that hinders the right action.Blow away the guilt like smoke.
Breathe in the light of your body and your resting state.Exhale the fear that caused the pain.Blow away fear like smoke.
Breathing in the light that flows into your spiritual body, you feel at ease on every level.All harmful obstacles are blown away and the air becomes fresh.You are whole and rejuvenated.
Rest here and enjoy another 10 minutes of quiet meditation.When ready to go back to your day, go to the window and open your eyes.tension.Complete the journal entry for the day in The Book of Mirrors.Extinguish the candle when you are done.
