 FACTORS AFFECTING HOW LONG DOES A REED DIFFUSER LAST

Whilst on average, a reed diffuser should last for 3 to 4 months, these factors will affect this average time.

• where the reed diffuser is placed. Try to avoid placing them near to outside doors or even doors to halls where the fragrance can get 'lost'.
• also try to avoid radiators as the heat will cause the reed diffuser oil to evaporate more quickly.
• more reeds in the reed diffuser will cause the diffuser oil to evaporate more quickly
• the quality of the reeds.
• 

Each room and each home is different. You will need to experiment with your reed diffusers - for more fragrance, warmer rooms with more and longer reeds will create more fragrance but the reed diffusers will last for a shorter period of time. In cooler parts of your home, and away form doors and drafts, there will be less fragrance, but the reed diffusers will last a longer period of time.

An unobtrusive yet contemporary choice that matches our handmade candle range.  Our reeds are grey fibre reeds that are custom made for use in reed diffusers and tend to clog less frequently than rattan reeds. We source all our supplies from UK suppliers.
