How does a reed diffuser work? 

We use reeds that are all natural, undyed and sustainably harvested, made from a material called rattan. When you place reeds in the diffuser, they naturally allow the fragrance oil to flow upwards and evaporate into the air, creating a long-lasting scent. 

How do you use a reed diffuser? 

Reed diffusers offer a simple alternative to candles or plug-ins. First, uncap the bottle by carefully removing the cork and set it aside to recap at a later time. Place 4-8 reeds into the open bottle to begin gently dispersing the scent. After 10 minutes, we suggest flipping the reeds so the saturated ends are in the air. Once you’re satisfied with the reed arrangement, set the diffuser discretely on a shelf or choose to display it as a focal point of your room. 

How many sticks should you put in a diffuser?

This is completely up to you! How long do the reeds last in a diffuser? 

The lifespan of a reed diffuser depends on the number of reeds you insert and how long you keep the reeds in during each use. From our experience, our 4-ounce bottle will last at least 3 months (taking on a new meaning of “set it and forget it”). When you’re finished with the bottle, it can be recycled like any other glass or repurposed into another home staple.
